I had an amazing time presenting a paper on Music Editing, Hidden Labour, and Streaming Aesthetics in High-End TV at the 2026 Music and the Moving Image conference at @nyuscreenscoring NYC, before flying to Dublin to share it again at Music and Media’s Directions and Aesthetics of the Digital Era at @ucdschoolofmusic .

My music editing conference world tour concludes in Manchester next month at @rncmlive for MSMI/SoS 2026! 😅

Looking forward to continuing the conversation around music, sound, and the moving image!

Yesterday, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani released a video calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “a war criminal” and “the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people.”

Mamdani said Netanyahu is not welcome in New York City and called on the federal government to enforce the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant if he returns to the United States. He also acknowledged that New York City does not have the independent legal authority to make the arrest itself.
