Dances with Films LA
The Last Cheap House had its LA premiere Saturday night at the Chinese Theater.
I get to play the monster in this film, and it was so fun to hear a theater-full of people scream and laugh.
My life-long passion of hiding in the dark and jump scaring people has finally proven valuable.
Huge thanks to my amazing director @yesitsmegfavreau for trusting me with this one, and for dear friend producer @crystal_c_collins for vouching for me.
I’ll share pictures once the festival circuit has completed. But be warned- you may never look at me the same again :)

You’re the absolute best!!! And we’re so lucky to have you scaring the daylights out of people in our movie ❤️😱

Playing the creature rather than the protagonist is genuinely harder to pull off and almost always undervalued. The audience response you're describing, screaming and laughing together, is exactly what practical monster work should do
