This vibrant group of young people came together for the Horticulture Business Challenge (HBC) 2026 to gain firsthand knowledge of Ghana's horticultural industry. Participants worked on actual business issues in agritech, digital marketing, market access, and sustainable agriculture through practical interaction with industry partners.
The teams, their host organizations, and the impactful work they produced are all highlighted in this special focus.
Participants: Derick Gaglo, Nana Akua Gyimah, and Josephine N. Gyebuaah
Health Cave Limited, a newly established natural juice brand focused on promoting healthy nutrition while supporting local farmers within Ghanaโs horticulture value chain.
The team supported the brand in building visibility and establishing a strong digital footprint from the ground up. They contributed to a phased digital marketing strategy aimed at increasing awareness, driving engagement, and converting interest into sales.
Through content creation and digital marketing activities, they helped shape HCโs emerging brand identity, further strengthened through collaborations with organisations such as Ampem Darkoa Foundation and outreach initiatives including community support activities at Ghanata Senior High School for BECE candidates.
