I like to think that each of us lives inside an invisible bubble, absorbed in our own thoughts, dreams, fears, and experiences. We rarely notice everything happening around us because, at the same time, we are busy happening ourselves.

Every stranger we pass is living a life just as rich and complex as our own, yet we can’t see their bubble, just as they can’t see ours. They all exist at once, moving alongside one another, invisible.

I love the idea that a photograph could make those invisible bubbles visible, not to show how separated we are, but to remind us that we’re all living our own stories at the same time.
