Both Mortal Kombat 2 & Scary Movie 6 just dropped this summer, in which the latter heavily parodies the Scream series, even using Ghostface as their main killer in their movies.🔪

For y’all Scream fans & horror lovers, yes that is the legend himself, Roger L. Jackson voicing Ghostface even in Mortal Kombat, with Skeet Ulrich even providing the motion capture for when Ghostface is unmasked, which should let you know Billy Loomis from the original Scream is the Ghostface in Mortal Kombat.🥶

Y’all may be thinking, Ghostface is just a guy with a knife, but the in-game lore is that Billy Loomis recruits 2 other Mortal Kombat characters to be take on the Ghostface persona with him & team up, which is extremely accurate to how there’s multiple Ghostfaces in the Scream movies.📼

Ghostface was added as a DLC fighter to the newest Mortal Kombat 2024 as part of the “Khaos Reigns” story expansion, which also included Conan The Barbarian & even the T-1000 from the Terminator franchise as DLC characters too.🩸

The reason Ghostface came to Mortal Kombat is because Mortal Kombat isn’t new to having famous horror characters show up in their Games, with Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Alien & even Predator being in past games, fitting the ultra-violent fighting game.🐉

Shout out @nohearthazzy for the gameplay 🎮
