A graduate of France's prestigious National School of Lutherie in Mirecourt, Baptiste Juguera (@baptistejuguera) continued his training under renowned luthier Frédéric Chaudière before establishing his own workshop in Montpellier in 2012. Drawing inspiration from the great Italian masters, Juguera creates each instrument entirely by hand, carefully selecting his tonewoods and preparing his own oil varnishes using traditional methods. Today, his instruments are played by musicians around the world and are recognized for their refined craftsmanship and artistic voice.

This 2025 violin is exceptionally lightweight, offering effortless comfort without sacrificing power. It produces a resonant, ringing sound with outstanding projection, balanced by a vibrant, slightly bright tonal palette. The lower register remains rich and complex, making this instrument equally compelling in lyrical passages and virtuosic repertoire. An excellent choice for the emerging soloist or advanced performer seeking both brilliance and depth.

This instrument has just been sold but we have other amazing instruments from our exhibition earlier this year. Schedule your private trial: (213) 471-2124
