SONGEA

Charley Dixon is a South African DJ, Producer and creative force originating from Barkly West, near Kimberley in the Northern Cape. From the vibrant beats of Afro House to the hypnotic rhythms of Afro Tech and the soulful depths of Deep House, her sonic wizardry is reshaping the scene.
Trained at the Volume Music Academy in Braamfontein, Dixon mastered the art of DJing and caught the attention of industry elites. She then unveiled her producer alter-ego, debuting with the emotionally charged ‘Wagga’ in 2023 — a heartfelt homage to her late father.
She has since grown into one of Southern Africa’s most sought-after female selectors, performing from small clubs to international festivals including a set in Mozambique, Swaziland and at Bulgaria’s Blanket Palooza Radio Show.
