SONGEA is growing — and we want you to be part of the journey. 🌍🎶

We’re bringing together the people who make the music scene move.

SONGEA is a Nordic platform for African electronic music & culture, working across record label, artist representation and events. Our aim is to connect artists, DJs, producers, promoters, venues, creatives and music lovers — creating space for deeper sounds, new collaborations and genuine community.

On 23 October, we’re opening the doors for our first SONGEA Meet & Greet in Helsinki.

Come meet the team, discover what we’re building, share ideas, exchange contacts and connect with others in the scene.

Whether you’re an artist, DJ, producer, promoter, venue, creative or simply a music lover, you’re welcome.

No pressure. No formal programme.
Just good music, good people & good conversations.

Meet Roman Jack, founder of SONGEA

Roman Jack is a French Afro House DJ, producer, cultural curator and creative
entrepreneur whose musical universe blends soulful grooves, organic percussion,
cinematic textures, and deep emotional storytelling into immersive dancefloor
experiences. With more than two decades of experience behind the decks and in music
production, he has developed a refined artistic identity shaped by multicultural
influences, global house culture and a deep connection to rhythm as a universal language.
Originally from the southwest coast of France and now based in Helsinki, Roman Jack’s
artistic journey has been influenced by extensive experiences across Europe and Asia,
with a strong inspiration drawn from African musical heritage and contemporary Afro
electronic culture. His approach to Afro House goes beyond genre classification: it is
rooted in cultural dialogue, emotional connection, spirituality, movement and the
celebration of rhythm driven communities around the world. by @roman_jack_dj
