Have a baby + run a half in the same year ✔️!! I’m still in my feels about this one.

I didn’t finish with the fastest time I’ve ever ran, but I finished with my new fastest time as a mom. One that carried a human, had an unplanned c section, gave birth, healed and recovered from surgery, trained on mornings after nights with multiple wake ups, exclusively breastfeeding, raising a human, & working a full time job. So you know what? This is a best time for me in this new season of life. And I also HAD the BEST TIME.

I still have big goals that I want to train for… someday 🤗 for now I want to just be.. & along the way get stronger, get faster, and just soak in this special time with my kid that truly is once in a lifetime!!! 🥹😭🥹🥹

today is my first birthday to be celebrated 1000 miles away from home. I’m very grateful for this year. The things I’ve chased for the sacrifices made along the way, and the great people I’ve met along the way. Let’s keep living.
