There’s nothing quite like the feeling of a Red-shouldered Hawk flying straight at you. 😳

For a split second, it locked eyes with me as it came in head-on, and that’s the moment I was hoping for. Flight photography is never easy, but when the autofocus sticks and everything comes together, it’s incredibly satisfying.
