Quick fire round!

I have a FREE mini symptom checklist for you, if you suspect your baby has tongue tie, comment "checklist" and I will send it to your DMs

📣 a normal frenulum can easily be mistaken for a posterior tongue tie to the untrained eye. If diagnosing a tie was so easy, practitioners wouldn't need to complete advanced clinical skills modules to learn about it!

📣 sometimes tongue tie is 'blamed' for what can be corrected with trained feeding support. Every consult should come with feeding support, after all that is what we are trying to improve!

📣 every procedure comes with risk, a professional who tells you 'it's a quick snip' without discussing risk isn't helping you to make an informed choice. Your consultation should give you enough time, information and support to decide whether you feel the benefits outweigh the risks

Feeding struggles that a tongue tie release alone WON'T fix:

1. Aversion
2. Oral dysfunction
3. Poor muscle tone
4. Oral tension
5. High palate
6. Allergies

Share this with your family and friends, other parents and to anyone who has a baby with suspected tongue tie 💚

If the answer to every feeding issue was a frenulotomy, life would be so much easier....but it isn't 💔
