Round 1 of the LTDC is in the books! 🔥🇧🇪
While Chief was enjoying a well deserved holiday, Davey represented HIKOtech_NLD on his own for this event.
The day didn't start as planned. After rushing to finish the new R31 Wagon body, finding the right setup and getting comfortable with the new shell proved difficult. After a couple of practice sessions, the trusted Chaser came back out, and with a few setup changes the confidence slowly returned.
When qualifying started, everything finally clicked. Davey put together an impressive 93 point run, securing Top Qualifier (TQ) as the only driver to break the 90 point mark! 💪🔥
The battle tree was packed with close competition. After a bye run, Davey worked his way past Maxime before facing Nicolas Debure in an intense battle that went through multiple One More Times. Advancing to the Top 4, another hard fought battle against Andries ended after three OMTs. With temperatures pushing everyone to their limits, there was still one final battle left for the podium, where Davey secured an excellent 3rd place overall. 🥉
🏆 Results:
🥇 Top Qualifier (93point run)
🥉 3rd Overall
A huge congratulations to Davey on another strong result! Also, thanks to Drift Passion, the judges, marshals and everyone involved for putting together another great event.
A special thank you to Saskia and Armando for capturing the action with the amazing photos and videos throughout the day. 📸🎥
On to the next one! 👊🔥
