Slowly but surely, I’m getting my pink back! If you’re unfamiliar… The saying is inspired by flamingos. When flamingos have + raise their chicks, they pour so much energy and nutrients into their offspring that their feathers can lose their vibrant color and turn gray or faded. Over time, with rest and nourishment, their pink color returns. As moms, I don’t think the pink magically returns, I think it takes intentional steps and ways to make space for ourselves to feel good (and like ourselves) again. One day at a time, 🫂🦩🤍
