I had the pleasure of playing on the latest @minions movie, “Minions and Monsters,” and it was a particularly special one for a few reasons! First of all, it was major fun playing @johnj_powell ‘s virtuosically zany score, particularly as we were able to do lots of piano experimenting with killers @irenekim.pianist and @dougpettykeys. Thanks to John and @zimmittimusicgroup for having me!

But equally fun: this is the first time I’ve worked on a title that my lovely wife @micheleeza was planning the premiere for! I was able to attend and see her badass self and team in action.

And then as ANOTHER bonus, @illuminationent decided a few days before the premiere that they wanted to do a Minionese singing contest and that they wanted a live accompanist. Fortunately I was available, and so if you swipe left, you can see one of the odder accompanist jobs I’ve had in my career. (All the contestants actually ended up being great)!
