I recorded drums for this epic mashup of songs celebrating Disney Legend @lin_manuel. Thanks to @ryanomusic for bringing me on board this one. Great playing from my friends @jeffaskewmusic and @basschops as well. Getting the approval on the drums from the great @alacamoire was the icing on the cake!

🥁 GET TO KNOW THE BAND!

The Barclay Jazz & Beyond Orchestra might be your favorite part of our season—but do you know the musicians behind the music? 👀

Introducing Adam Alesi! When you hear snappy percussion during a BJBO show, you know it’s Adam setting the tempo on the snare drums. 👋 Like Adam, do you keep any fun mementos at work?

See Adam and the rest of the band take the Barclay stage September 16 for Battle of the Bands—a night of big band classics, fiery solos, musical duels, and a little friendly competition. 🔥

Stay tuned… we’ve got more of the band to introduce! 🥁 by @loudestdrums

Recorded an astonishing 1150 tracks in my home studio this year. In just a few months we made this back room at the new house into the ultimate drum space.

Thanks to everyone that has trusted to me play on their music this year and looking forward to more sessions here next year at Sunkist Sound 🍊 taken in Anaheim, California by @loudestdrums

Grateful to be back with the Disneyland Candlelight Orchestra again this year for the sixth time.

It’s always a pleasure to share the stage with so many talented friends, like these guys. The great educator and percussionist Rich Watson and coming in new to the orchestra this year is my Pixar Pal “Mallets Malone” @nickstoneperc taken in Main Street, U.S.A. by @loudestdrums

I recently acquired this Carroll Sound Bell Tree from veteran LA percussionist Wally Snow. We shared playing this instrument that last several years in the Disneyland Candlelight Orchestra. He told me he ordered it from @prodrumhollywood who had it shipped direct from NY, and at one point took it apart to (unsuccessfully) hang the bells chromatically.

I asked him if ever considered parting ways with it to let me know, so I’m excited to add it to the collection. by @loudestdrums
