I got invited to one of Berlin's most iconic buildings, to explore the newly opened (2023) Fotografiska photo museum and its current exhibition: Anton Corbijn: Corbijn, Anton 👀
Fotografiska Berlin, spreading across 5,500 square meters inside the iconic Tacheles building on Oranienburger Straße, is the fourth branch of the Swedish photography museum, bringing world-class contemporary photography right into the heart of the German capital 📸
The building carries a rich and complex history, once a department store, it later became the legendary Kunsthaus Tacheles artists' squat. The iconic graffiti created between 1990 and 2012 was carefully preserved as part of the renovation, making every corner a layer of living history 🎨
Huge thank you to
@fotografiska.berlin and
@easycitypassberlin for the invite and the tour, it was truly interesting and exciting, and an experience I won't forget anytime soon! 🙏
