Hey there friends. It’s been a while since I’ve shared any life updates and there has been a lot going on in the background of my life. I’ve pulled away from a lot of things and people lately and have been working on healing my own trauma. I hit a breaking point in the fall after just feeling numb and shut down for a long time. I was living in survival mode and finally got my head above water enough to gain some clarity. This has not been an easy process but with it has come some needs for change.
So we are moving! We are headed to Tennessee in August. We will live closer to my best friend, Joey will have a much better work schedule, we will homeschool full time and go on many more adventures as a family. I even plan to start working part time to get myself out of the house and have some more grown up human interaction. I adore my boys but I’m in a season where I need balance.
Healing your nervous system is not for the faint of heart. So if you have done it or are going through it, just know that I think you are amazing.
We will be either selling or leasing our home, whichever makes more sense in this strange real estate market here. My parents are staying here and I’m am so thankful for the life they have built here but we don’t feel like this is where we are being called to stay. There have been many wonderful and happy moments in Texas but it has also come with my trials. We have learned so much and look forward starting over somewhere new.
