12 years of loving you, and here to say love gets better with time. We’ve chosen to fight through the hard to get to the better and I couldn’t be more happy to be doing life with you Joshua 😘 by @sunshinehomemaking

I’m drooling while I type this, waiting to go eat the entireeeeee bowl of 🥁….. sheep butter 🤤

If I’m being honest, sheep have been, and always will be my favorite. 😆 and now that I have mastered making sheep BUTTER, it’s solidified that.

I think these will be some of our fondest memories ✨

I’ve been trying to use milking time as a time to connect with one of my boys each time and it’s been so nice.

My 5 year old said “mom! I love seeing how you’re doing all you do out here!”

Sometimes it’s easier to just go on my own and do it quick. But I really enjoy all of this when we can slow it down and enjoy each other and the process. ❤️

Pro metabolic taught me to eat a bedtime snack and be comfortable with a little extra weight because it was healthy. Taught me to eat the sourdough because fermentation was good for my body.

Now, I don’t want to say that it was 100% bad. Because I think I learned a lot about fermentation and being okay with my body in a place when I was pregnant.

But in the long run, it did not work for me. I was filling inflamed, my body was hurting, I was eating all healthy food mostly, but just too much of it. I lived a a healthy lifestyle, but the weight wouldn’t come off. Simple things like walking would make my joints feel achy.

Now, about a month into focusing more on a diet high in protein, allowing myself to feel hungry, and not snack all the time, closing the kitchen down (for me), after dinner, and I’m down 10lbs! 🙌 weight that I didn’t need. I can walk to the lake now without pain 😅. The salt intake and joint pain from that pro metabolic diet was REAL!

I didn’t change much, but man, I just feel so much less inflamed doing normal things now. 🤪

More magic 💫 freedom 🇺🇸 financial stability 💵 waterfalls 💦

Our kids only have one childhood. We only have so many years to be parents. We wanted to give them magic. We love it here. Although we won’t ever stop missing our fam. ❤️

Don’t teach your boys to be strong without being strong yourself. Don’t teach them that they can do hard things without doing hard things yourself.

The big boys made homemade butter 🧈. 🤤

Parents, don’t sleep on this one. A pint or quart jar, half full of cream, and your kids get a fidget toy, exercise, fun, and butter for everyone 🤤.

But seriously, have you tried homemade butter? There’s nothing like it. And my kids love th sense of accomplishment. ❤️

How do you juggle it? You’re the ONLY one that milks? What DO you do out there when you’re milking?

This. This right here has been my therapy lately. I can cry, sob, praise Jesus, and say mean things to animals (and apologize lol). Don’t worry they’re my girls. They can take it. They know I don’t mean it, and know I’m just blowing off steam.

But really, as a Mama to loads of littles, finding hobbies that serve your family is so helpful. It’s a win win for everyone.
