PART TWO of the first 6 months of the year:
72 hours in Melbourne, Australia, with one of my bestie sister friends @ritaamal
Rita was a Guest and Headline speaker for @aidcmelb - Australian International Documentary Conference - speaking to a packed room of fellow documentarians, it was mesmerizing watching her talk about incredible body of award winning work and new documentary.
A proud moment for me!
Living with Rita for almost 10 years in LA, I witnessed first hand and learnt about hard work, discipline, creative tenacity and being brave to follow your instincts.
Of course I had to take her for a glass of local Australian wine at one of my favourite Melbourne wine bars @citywineshop
Last shot is an EXHAUSTED Rita doing her make up half dead, but, still turning up for her Doc community. 😂
