I am on maternity leave but my brilliant colleague @sirin_kale has continued reporting on FBS with the Guardian’s team in Australia. As well as an excellent piece about the tragic death of Australian influencer Stacey Warnecke following her freebirth attended by an FBS-trained birth keeper, they have recorded an update episode to the Birth Keepers, our no.1 podcast series (link in bio).

It has reminded me to share some of the incredible feedback we got to the podcast, which now feels even more relevant and relatable following the shocking evidence that’s come out of the latest two inquiries into maternity care in the UK. The inquiries highlight, yet again, why women are losing trust in hospitals and in some cases turning to dangerous parts of the internet.
