A little behind-the-scenes story

I created this illustration for @sketching_club_clare 's exhibition last summer. It became part of the event branding, and a framed print found a new home on the very first opening day.

Fast forward to packing another copy for its new owner, and I somehow managed to stain the print, even though that I thought I was very careful with it. But hey I made a reel out of it!

Don't you worry, a fresh clean print replaced it, and the stained one stayed on my side.

This house portrait is based on the lovely corner local flower shop in Ennistymon - one of those buildings full of character that deserves to be drawn and remembered.

I'll be opening my books for custom house portrait commissions from September, once the kids are back at school. If you've been thinking about capturing a home with a special story, I'd love to hear from you.
