Ahead of Quebec Mega Trail this weekend, we caught up with GRID athlete @v_lar to get some thoughts on his recent sharpener at Clinique du Coureur.

“This was my first trail race of the season since I’ve switched from road to trail at the beginning of May. The goal was to test my current form level towards the upcoming races. I’ve had really good energy throughout the race but rolled my ankle pretty badly at 23rd km of the 50 km of La Clinique du Coureur which is a quite technical course. I’m glad I managed to keep the focus, adapt and still finish on the podium 🥉

Next I will be continuing my ramp up towards UTMB at Quebec Mega Trail 135 km this weekend and then focus on UTMB Mont Blanc - I’ll be flying to Chamonix at the beginning of August to finalize my preparation towards the famous “course de quartier” which I am really hyped about!”

Victor raced in the AROW Ultra Short V3 Black and White and the AROW Ultra Tee in Red.
