I'm writing this as a reminder to self. 🥺

I would admit myself first that I tend to prioritise work and money alot, because to me, that was what it meant to be a provider for the family.

It took me longer than I'd like to admit to see what it was costing. I was drained by the time I'm home & continued with work after a quick dinner. My wife told me she was feeling distanced and our daughter no longer shares her day with me.

I kept giving the reason that it was temporary.

After this deal.
After this promotion.
After things settled.

They never settled. It was always the next deal after. Or the next chase.

I'm not writing this because I've fixed it. I'm still learning to balance and started choosing differently.
