What a blessing and joy to present alongside my mom about the tremendously impactful work TACKF is doing. I watched my mom and dad’s marriage survive the hardest hits of my dad’s service, and by extension, our whole family’s. I know what to build my own life and marriage on because of the powerful witness of theirs. That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing what TACKF is doing.

Since 9/11, approximately 7,000 service members have been lost in combat. In that same time span, approximately 30,000 have been lost to suicide, and of those, 15,000 had intimate relationship issues as a contributing factor. By saving service marriages, TACKF is literally saving lives and building a generational legacy of thriving families.

Baylor University has studied the work and shown it to have a 99% success rate, with couples leaving the programs reporting significantly happier and healthier marriages.

TACKF is more than a weekend getaway, though those are very much needed at times. TACKF provides life support to marriages through 5 programs over 2 years, accommodating service and family schedules, at absolutely no cost to couples.
