If you’re looking for a french inspired neighbourhood bar and bistro, you have to try Le Rebelle!
We started our night off with the La Delizia burrata, that was served with a cauliflower puree and parsnips, as well as the steak tartare and frites. The burrata and cauliflower is such an underrated combo, this dish quite literally melts in your mouth.
For mains we ordered the WA fillet steak, and the glazed Wagin duck and frites, as well as a serve of the roast pumpkin salad on the side for some freshness. It’s safe to say you get your moneys worth. We did not leave feeling hungry, the portion sizes are delightfully larger than you’d expect!
We also popped into Le Rebelles sibling venue Bar Rogue just down the road in Highgate before dinner for a quick drink and a snack. This place is such a hidden gem! Be sure to check it out too!
