🕷️🕷️ The Spider-Man Exercise… born from curiosity, refined through movement.

After a bike workout and a midnight rolling session, I couldn’t stop thinking about one question:

How can I help hockey players move better, stay more resilient, and perform at a higher level?

In hockey, groin and hip issues are common—and often stubborn. One area I keep coming back to is how well an athlete can control breathing, rib mobility, and pelvic movement under load.

That late-night problem-solving turned into what I now call the Spider-Man Exercise. 🕷️🕸️

I recently had @brownu_mhockey goalie @freddiehalyk try it for the first time. The most valuable feedback wasn’t about how it looked—it was how it felt. As soon as he stood up, he said, “I feel great.”

It’s not just about returning to play—it’s about building athletes who move and feel better in their bodies under pressure.

If you try the Spider-Man Exercise, I’d be interested to hear what you notice in your movement, training, or on-ice feel. 🕷️🏒🥅

Love the curiosity behind this. The best ideas often come from asking better questions and paying attention to how athletes actually feel, not just how they perform.

This looks like a combination of all the things I did when I had my groin injury! I’m going to give it a try!
