patchwork pillows!!
commissioned by @christinaoyawale for their MFA grad show, Punk Care Commons!
I spent a few days intricately stitching together scraps of prints and fabric collected over their two years at the @schoolofart_um . Thank you for extending your vision to my studio and trusting my intuition and textile knowledge with these pieces.
Your installation pulsed with years of research, love, existence , and evidence of a deep understanding of what community means to you.
