patchwork pillows!!
commissioned by @christinaoyawale for their MFA grad show, Punk Care Commons!

I spent a few days intricately stitching together scraps of prints and fabric collected over their two years at the @schoolofart_um . Thank you for extending your vision to my studio and trusting my intuition and textile knowledge with these pieces.

Your installation pulsed with years of research, love, existence , and evidence of a deep understanding of what community means to you.

today marks 365 days of consecutive daily cyanotypes. an emotional milestone!!

a personal journal practice that’s been woven through every experience I’ve had over the last year. a love letter to the sun. and maybe the suns to us.

thanks to everyone for bearing with me, for your participation, for your kinship, for your care.

these fish and flower prints are days 344-350.

I love all of you that shared inspiration for any of these daily prints and all of you who listened to my rambling.

I’m looking forward to putting on a show in the new year after some adventures in the coming months. I hope you come revisit this journal with me!

i missed one day along the way while tending to my torn heart 💙 & that’s real. that’s that. that’s beautiful.

crotch/thigh repairs! one of the most time consuming, but we are getting better at them. not something that's offered at the buffets but can do them in studio! Hmu for pricey repairs that'll make ur ass feel awesome. Or u could say priceless if u like to feel closer with your beloved clothes n if you like imagining me swearing in the studio. $60-80 dollars or trades ::))) by @all_you_can_patch
