BECOMING BLUE | an indigo natural dyeing workshop weaving colour, plants and play
In this beautiful hands-on workshop in collaboration with @sarahfromthecosmos , children are invited into the story of indigo, how a soft green leaf becomes a deep, glowing blue.
Together we will
• Dye a 70 x 70 silk that can be used to wear or play
• Up cycle an item of clothing from home
• Plant our own indigo seeds to take home
Working with indigo, we will discover the magic of transformation as silk is dipped, lifted, and slowly shifts into swirling blues and winter sky tones. Each moment invites curiosity, patience, and delight in the changing nature of colour.
