Without animals, a forest is just a cluster of trees, it does not feel alive. When a herd of deer drinks water in the morning, the call of a peacock is heard at noon, and a lion’s roar echoes in the evening, only then you realize that the forest is breathing. That is its beauty.
And you see this balance every day in the forest. If there are no predators, herbivores increase. If herbivores increase, the grass disappears. If the grass disappears, the land becomes bare. Break one link and the whole chain shakes. That is why wildlife is not just something to watch, it is the very system that holds the entire ecosystem together.
