closing the chapter on this incredible journey. these past 4 years with this team have meant more to me than anyone could ever know. i am forever grateful for the memories this team has brought me. the past 9 years dedicated to this sport have brought me so much joy, whether traveling, constantly hanging out with my teammates, or getting to be with my biggest supporter, my dad 24/7. thank you to everyone who has helped me learn and grow not just as a player but as a person #DD4L

Very, very proud of you Sam. I know closing this chapter of your life is bittersweet. I know how much heart and soul you have put into practice, lessons, games & tournaments over the years. I know how hard you’ve pushed yourself to be a better player, despite curveballs life has thrown at you. I admire that you never.gave.up! The joy of winning, pushing yourself, the tough losses and all of the time you gave to this sport-the choice you made to choose softball, has shaped you into the positive, strong and hardworking leader you continue to become. I’m so glad you decided to try softball over on the good ole’ Wanamaker fields 9 years ago. You have become such a great player with so much strength & determination to always give it your all and have fun with your teammates in the process. What I love the most, what I’m the most proud of is the loyalty, love, encouragement, sportsmanship and fun spirited attitude you’ve given to every team, coach and teammate you’ve ever played with. The unwavering cheering and team-spirit is just one of the reasons you are loved by so many. It has been an absolute blessing to see the amazing memories you’ve been able to make with your Dad and I’m so thankful he has been able to coach, teach and cheer for you every step of the way on this journey. He is without a doubt your absolute biggest fan and always will be both on and off the field. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to cheer you on, watch you grow into such a talented player and enjoy this sport because you made it so much fun to watch. I’m so proud of you and you’ll always be my favorite softball player. Love you Sam! ❤️

Words would never be able to accurately articulate what being your coach and being on the field with you on this journey has meant. The great memories, friends we’ve met and wonderful teammates will forever be cherished. I will always be your biggest fan/ supporter. Love you kiddo!
