i met you irl in early 2024 tho we’d been talking since early fall 2023.

i asked you to be my girlfriend on juneteenth of this year. i thought id never do another long distance relationship again but here i am realizing it will be eight weeks until the next time i see you and that makes me so incredibly sad.

it’s been years since ive stayed up all night with another human and even longer since ive felt that specific feeling of security and intimacy.
