i took some photos of myself after my top surgery scars healed in early 2025. i did this a few times pre and post surgery but this is my favorite set so far. digital is much more forgiving when it comes to self portraits.

this was inspired by @jakewangner when he did the cover shoot for renaissance boy by @galamatiasmusic

it’s a two light set up, long exposures with a self timer and a cable release. fun to do at home with a white background. very minimal editing — i changed the color balance and contrast ever so slightly. taken in New York City by @_013517

black @ bat

great experience working with @theshapeofterrell for this shoot at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. loved that he reached out with the idea of shooting on-site, and the results came back absolutely perfect. it was a pleasure helping to bring this vision to life together.

once upon a time (feb 2025) i went to the @icp for a free lighting workshop sponsored by @harlowecreators

as per usual it takes me forever to edit digital images but here we are over one year later.

re-scanned some pics from my trip to bear mountain w/ @emiliaprimavera last year

finally got a dedicated 35mm scanner bc the epsom v100, while great for 120, does nothing for 35mm — esp when it’s slide film. i developed and scanned these myself. yay to successful e-6 processing.

this is a combo of provia 100 and ektachrome 100 shot on an olympus om4

last image is a throwback to the first time i went to bear mountain back at gsapp and @exoworks sped walked up and led us down the mountain on a v questionable non path (still fun tho)

aisha,

ty for walking 11 miles through brooklyn w/ me. i love that i finally got you to @misfitkavabar and that you volunteered to be my assistant @ f*g

who knew work and walking could be such a fun date

i met you irl in early 2024 tho we’d been talking since early fall 2023.

i asked you to be my girlfriend on juneteenth of this year. i thought id never do another long distance relationship again but here i am realizing it will be eight weeks until the next time i see you and that makes me so incredibly sad.

it’s been years since ive stayed up all night with another human and even longer since ive felt that specific feeling of security and intimacy.

ty for for going on this (very passionate) journey with me and im so excited to see where it takes us even if this 8 week wait is going to kill me 😭

i love you, i love you, i love you 🩵

for those of you who are new here, i’ve been polyamorous since late 2022. i like taking photos and talking about my life. i feel like i owe it to my younger self to show that queer life can be both different and filled with joy taken in Ridgewood, New York City by @_013517
