They’re watching more than we realize. 🧠🏀
They notice how we carry ourselves.
They notice our attitude.
They notice our effort.
They notice how we respond to challenges.
Even when it doesn’t look like they’re listening, they’re often absorbing the habits, body language, and energy we consistently demonstrate.

Moments like this remind me why I’m so grateful to coach. 💙 There was a time when people I loved believed this wasn’t something I could do. Looking back, I’m thankful I didn’t let those voices become my future. Some days I show up physically exhausted or not feeling my best, but it’s amazing how quickly that changes once I’m around these young athletes. Their laughter, their personalities, and even their random cartwheels 😂🤸🏽♀️ have a way of giving energy right back. Then there are moments like this, when you realize they’re absorbing far more than the drills. They’re watching how we carry ourselves, how we respond, and the standard we consistently model. That’s why our motto, Excel Beyond Expectations, has always meant more than sports to me. It’s about the character we build, the example we set, and the lives we help shape in every aspect of life. 💎🏀 Those are the victories that stay with me long after practice ends.
