One of the biggest barriers keeping our young people out of high-paying STEM careers isn’t intelligence...
It’s access to advanced mathematics.
Here’s the reality:
📈 Pre-Calculus is the minimum preparation for many STEM majors.
⚙️ Calculus I is a standard first-year course in nearly every engineering program.
🩺 Students pursuing pre-med, physics, computer science, mathematics, economics, and many other STEM fields are also expected to complete calculus early in college.
The earlier students are exposed to higher-level math, the more doors they have open to them.
Research consistently shows that students who complete advanced mathematics in high school are more likely to attend college, complete STEM degrees, qualify for higher-paying careers, and earn higher lifetime incomes.
So why shouldn’t our children have that same opportunity?
