X-FANS! Attend our X-Men '97 s2, episode 4 Watch Party w special guests X-Men '97 writer Anthony Sellitti and voice actor Adetokumboh M'Cormack (En Sabah Nur aka young Apocalypse) joining virtually on Wed. July 8, 6-8p at Scum & Villainy Cantina in Hollywood.
Featuring: photo opps, cosplay catwalk. prizes and Q&A. Drink specials (21+) include the Rogue's Kiss (with numbing sugar) and Chama Solar. Food and drink available for purchase. Free to attend! 21+ after 8p.
Costumes, cosplay and X-Men shirts and gear highly recommended! This week's dress theme is Ancient Egypt and Apocalypse to tie into Episode 4 title: Rise of Apocalypse, Part 2. And because Anthony co-wrote ep 2 X-Force vs X-Factor with Jubilee and some Generation X characters, this week's theme incudes all ep 2 characters too!
Event starts 6p, Cosplay Catwalk 6:30p, Watch episode 4 at 7p, then stay after for Scum's regular weekly Wednesday Trivia at 8p.
It's so fun to watch X-Men '97 with a restaurant filled with fellow merry mutants! To see the energy and electricity like Storm at our packed premiere party, look thru our recent reels.
In 2024, we organized weekly watch parties with appearances by more than a dozen of the show's cast and creators. It was a wonderful experience to bring together the X-Men fandom community from around LA / OC and beyond.
These X-Men '97 watch parties are fan organized by organized by @kevinwinston of @digitalla. Our venue host @scumandvillainycantina bar and restaurant has been bringing together pop culture fandoms from Star Wars to Harry Potter for several years. Their second location Rendezvous is planned for Burbank.
