On this day in history (July 6) two important things happened for the queer community:
-In 1973, the queer vigilante group “the Lavender Panthers” was founded. I reported and drew a comic about them for NPR. Read it at the link in my bio!
-In 1992, I was born. Huge news for the gays. It’s my birthday, so you have to read my comic! Getting my first NPR byline for comic work is an excellent present.
HUGE thank you to my mentor @neoncatdc for all her help and guidance, and to @jackie.lay for her advice and expertise after publishing her own brilliant comic reporting!
