“Too often, conversations about male engagement stop at whether men should be involved. This report pushes us to ask better questions.”

This is exactly where the work truly begins. @nabilaaguele hits the nail on the head—it’s not just about launching another report; it’s about what we do with the evidence in that room to drive real change on the ground.

As a filmmaker and policy advocate, this gathering completely sharpened my resolve. While this incredible research gives our sector the hard data we need for tracking and policy, our biggest opportunity right now is translating this evidence into mass media and high-impact storytelling.

Fathers, brothers, and husbands hold the ultimate decision-making power in our communities. To build truly accountable frameworks that protect our girls at the finish line, we must use the creative economy to turn raw data into culturally respectful, relatable visual stories. We need to make male allyship an honorable, proud, and aspirational tradition for every man across Northern Nigeria.

Let’s stop just reporting the data and start broadcasting the change. 🎬📚

Head over to the link in @malalafund’s bio to read the executive summary. Proud to keep pushing the needle with Nabila, @ziauddin.yousafzai, and the entire team! 🇳🇬
