Won't pretend, I have the feels witnessing this long-ago baby human as he launches. It happens along the way, incrementally, but this is a big step: SFU and a new apartment with his lovely love. 💗

I'm so so proud of his spirit and his dedication. I respect his autonomy and admire his soul. He’s always been him and that’s exactly how it should be. It sure is something when *your* bird flies. 🤍

In love. Always for him, his truest self in the ways that manifest, his journey, his capabilities and perfectly wonderful imperfections (cause ain’t no such thing as perfect, which has been a spoken mantra all along, and how else can you find your way to *interesting*.…) In witnessing the consideration and dedication he offers to those he cares for and alllll the life and mystery and delight ahead for him. Lucky, indeed, and for all of us strange and beautiful forms who share paths here in this thing called life. 🍀

I usually keep my personal stuff pretty personal, but hey - it’s a milestone - so hand me a tissue and order some bubbles next time we cross paths. 🐛 > 🦋
