The MIST

Third time’s the charm this Friday! @moonshine.mu , the “post-border, multidisciplinary collective creating lunar-aligned events, music, apparel and film centered on African and Afrodiasporic club culture”, bring their world-renowned pan-African party back to Nairobi.

This year’s editions sees the collective enlist the skills of DRC-based artist & collective member @djp2n_official who’ll be gracing the Mist with his signature blend of Katangese folk and South African Afro House, alongside touring Moonshine crew members @sanfarafina and @pierrekwenders x

Adding to the fire are emerging selectors @sissmiong and @getty_thee.dj, whose styles seamlessly blend Gengetone, Urbantone, Dancehall, Afro House, Afrotech, club edits and other other club-driven music: weaving local sounds with contemporary African and global club sounds. Alongside them & waving the @studio18ke Soundsystem flag high is newcomer and rapidly rising talent @sukuma.wiki whose selection is guaranteed to keep you on your feet x

In case you needed anymore convincing, veteran selectors and hometown heroes @_cocoem & @badmanbantou will also be spinning, adding that final touch to an already stacked Friday lineup 🚨
