Rosie sweats, inspired by my cat Rosie. The main element of the sweats; the darted knee construction, is inspired by the anatomy of a cat’s leg. Using darts, I was able to introduce this form into the sweats in a way that builds and holds a really beautiful shape throughout the garment. When wearing them, its very clear how they manipulate the silhouette by pushing the knee base forward, the same way a cat’s digitigrade knee anatomy works. Additionally, I was inspired by the colors, softness, and general idea of comfort i saw in Rosie, guiding my design decisions such as the 100% cotton french terry that only gets softer as it ages, or the acid wash finish for a nice touch of depth in the color.

It is hard to get as comfy as a cat who sleeps 18 hours a day, but with the Rosie sweats, you can come pretty close. Available now with free next day shipping.
