There's nothing else like it in the sky.
This is Jet1, the full-scale demonstrator of our blended-wing-body aircraft, built in partnership with Scaled Composites and backed by the U.S. Air Force. Once you've seen this silhouette, you'll know it anywhere.
Jet1 is targeting first flight in late 2027, and this is a first look at how it will move through the sky, over the ocean, along the coast, above the desert that will soon be its test range.
Where do you want to see Jet1 fly first? ๐

Is it expected that flying at a higher altitude will involve less turbulence?

The vertical stabs are new. Is this just a feature for the demonstrator or is this design feature planned for the production model too?
