@japanairlines is backing Z4.
Announced today at Farnborough International Airshow, JAL will collaborate with JetZero on the Z4's design, ground operations, and future maintenance programs, bringing their operational expertise into a next-generation blended-wing-body aircraft.
250 seats. 5,000 nm range. Up to 50% better fuel efficiency.

Gulf Air has signed a Letter of Intent with JetZero for Z4 aircraft! ✈️

Designed for the future of long-haul travel, the Z4 offers capacity for 250 passengers, a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles and up to 50% lower fuel burn, alongside an elevated passenger experience.

The aircraft will support Gulf Air’s growing network across Europe and Asia. 🌍

There's nothing else like it in the sky.
This is Jet1, the full-scale demonstrator of our blended-wing-body aircraft, built in partnership with Scaled Composites and backed by the U.S. Air Force. Once you've seen this silhouette, you'll know it anywhere.
Jet1 is targeting first flight in late 2027, and this is a first look at how it will move through the sky, over the ocean, along the coast, above the desert that will soon be its test range.

Happy 250th birthday, USA!

Two hundred fifty years ago, nobody could have imagined how far American ingenuity would take us. Distance used to decide everything: who you knew, where you worked, what reached you.
