It was so special to film this reel with @sheina.gutnick .
Sheina’s father, Reuven Morrison, saved mine and my baby’s life. That alone is something I will never be able to put into words.
But beyond that, I am constantly inspired by Sheina. Her resilience, her strength, and the way she has transformed unimaginable pain into purpose is extraordinary. Today, Sheina is the public affairs officer for the @combatantisemitism , continuing to use her voice to stand up for the Jewish people. She chooses light, keeps fighting, and wears her Jewish identity with pride.
I couldn’t think of a more fitting message during the Three Weeks.
The Three Weeks are a time of mourning and reflection over the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash. But they are also a time to strengthen ourselves, to grow, and to build the kind of Jewish future we want to see.
There is something incredibly powerful about choosing to remain a proud Jew during this period. To deepen our connection to Judaism. To do another mitzvah. To strengthen our Ahavat Yisrael. To continue shining our Jewish light, even in times of darkness.
May our Jewish pride, our unity, and our acts of goodness help bring about the rebuilding of the third Beis Hamikdash במהרה בימינו. ✡️🤍
