If we see them we need to get in the way, the more that help the better. Just stay in front and run through the bunker

I was fishing 20 miles south of Montauk June 30th and the amount of life out there was absolutely astounding. Acres of whales and bait fish like you wouldnt believe. Including one aggressive humpback who charged the boat. We caught 4 Mako's ( 2 estimated to be 300 lbs) and 1 Brown Shark. We got some nice Bluefish on the way in by the lighthouse. The ocean out there is teeming with life. Way better than the last time I went in 1991.

I'm out of Long Island Long Island Sound Port Jefferson area last year and this year there are NO BUNKER

Why would they want to do that? It’s not edible for us. It’s nothing but bait. Am I wrong? Somebody tell me something.

It’s just a shame cause I said this five years ago nobody wanted to listen they already wiped out the Chesapeake Bay all the charterboat captains, and all fisherman are saying there is none extinct. They have a problem, catching Striped bass cobia. When is enough enough when it’s too late we don’t get no spring fishery on LongIsland. We lucky we get a fall but now they’re starting to take the bunker from out east and north as far as Maine so we’re definitely gonna be in trouble. And if anybody thinks this is not a problem, then you’re the problem. We need to wake up.

Fished Jamaica bay 4 different times this spring not a bunker anywhere to be found!
