You signed our petition. The fish still aren't back.
We have a real ask now: a 12-nautical-mile buffer keeping industrial reduction ships off the beaches. Ten states already keep them out of their own waters. Time to finish the job.
Nature is already talking. In New Jersey, on the Navesink this year: 22 osprey chicks, none confirmed to survive. On the Shrewsbury: at least 3 fledglings made it. Coastal Ospreys eat almost nothing but menhaden. What's it gonna take for the powers that be to take notice before things collapse?

The best in the world at catching bunker couldn't find any. After sailing all the way from Reedville, the fleet went home empty. A clear sign they've fished down the stock. We're all struggling now.

Been screaming from the rooftops that 6" Bunkers are all over, all season, 3 years in a row, and nothing bigger. The science then comes out and proves that what we are seeing out on the water is right. The ASMFC decides to IGNORE the science and votes to continue the decimation.
