My Dad wouldn't want us sitting around crying for too long. @artbyharti

He'd tell us to get back up, keep dreaming bigger, keep pushing and keep creating. So, for now, this will be my last post about him for a little bit before I try to carry on the way he would have wanted me to. (However best I can right now)

Before anything else, thank you.

Thank you to every single person who has sent a message, left a comment, called, sent a WhatsApp, shared a memory of my dad or simply kept my family in your prayers. Every single one has meant more than you could possibly know right now. Reading your stories and hearing how many lives he touched has brought us so much comfort during the hardest week of our lives.

My dad wasn't just my dad.

He was my greatest teacher.

He taught me how to read music.

He taught me how to sing. Play the flute, piano.

He taught me how to write songs.

But more than any of that, he taught me how to think.

He never accepted life at face value. He always asked, "Why?" He taught me to question everything, to dream bigger than what was in front of me, and to believe there was always something greater than what we could see.

Some of my happiest memories were sitting beside him in the studio making music together. When I doubted myself, he never did. He believed in me long before I believed in myself. He produced my entire debut album 'Teenage Tears' it has 4 million streams on Spotify & will be my proudest work to date.

One thing he always said has become something I'll carry with me forever:

"Freedom is the greatest gift in life. If a decision makes you feel free, then it's the right decision."

Above everything else, family came first. The love he had for my mum, my brothers, my sister and all of us was unconditional. Watching your messages come in from all around the world, I realised people weren't just talking about my dad. They were talking about Mum and Dad. About a love story that inspired so many people.

I promise I'll keep his legacy alive. I'll release every song we ever made together. Those songs deserve to live because they carry a part of him. (Continues in caption)

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences, Tallia. I can't imagine the pain you are going through right now. Losing your father is one of life's greatest heartbreaks. I imagine he was a true pillar in your life, a source of strength, love, and guidance. Even though his absence will leave an immense void, I'm sure he would want you to keep living life to the fullest, to keep smiling, laughing, singing, and chasing your dreams with the same passion. A father's love never truly disappears—it lives on through the memories you shared, the values he passed on to you, and the strength he gave you. I wish you all the courage and strength in the world during this incredibly difficult time. May your father rest in peace, and may his memory always be a light that guides you forward. My thoughts are with you and your family. ❤️

Absolute true love right here in your words for your wonderful Dad. I hadn't realised you both played flute. I did for many years & loved being part of an orchestra & playing music. Your so strong & that comes from your Mam & Dad. Mine sadly have passed & I miss them terribly especially on my own cancer journey but you move & shuffle & keep going with the strength from within. Sending huge huge love & hugs to you all & sending prayers always especially for your Momma 💕
