Cambodia, you have my heart! An incredible country that should not be overlooked if you’re ever planning a trip to South East Asia
Having spent just over 2 weeks here, I can confidently say that the people are one of the friendliest and most welcoming I have encountered on my trip so far! They just had a way of greeting you with genuine warmth that made you feel at home 🥹
Of course, it’s hard to ignore the tragic and dark history that has shaped this country, but learning about its past gave me a deeper appreciation towards their culture and reminded me how privileged I am to be in a position where I can travel and learn from places with stories so different to my own…
I’ll finish off with just saying that the islands were absolutely STUNNING 😭 the pictures really don’t capture how beautiful they were. Top tip, rent a bike & spend the day beach hopping in Koh Rong… every corner of this island was absolute paradise!!! 🏝️☀️🍹
