My Film Noir moment, in the style of Humphrey Bogart. (Apologies to Raymond Chandler.)
“He was tall as a post, and twice as thick. Legs like a stork, with a brain to match. If good looks were a crime he would’ve walked free. His suit fit him the way bad news fits a Monday morning. He smiled once. Somewhere, a child started crying.”
I’m not overly keen on having my photo taken, but I saw the second image online and inspiration overcame me. That image is, I believe, the work of one Amanda Elwell. Well, I’m off to climb a hill of beans. But we’ll always have parrots. x
