Pakistani women are audacious as ever, ambitious like no other, and graceful beyond words. How grateful would I be to represent my people and actually do work that benefits our communities. The glam, the walk, this pageant world is new to me. But the work that comes after is not. I have always supported the communities I have been a part of and my platform is to support housing insecure communities with the resources they need to find stability. I can promise that I will continue that mission even if I don’t win, but if I win I will have a platform to do it on and a community to support me with my goals.
